Weddings
Your wedding will be unique. After hours of planning you may be anxious that nothing goes wrong. With my friendly formality and attention to detail, I will be on hand to guide you and your guests through the whole day. Everyone will be able to relax and thoroughly enjoy this very special occasion.
I will meet with you well in advance to offer advice and the benefit of my experience as you plan your day - On the day I will arrive early to liaise with the management of the venue
- I will greet your guests and direct them as required
- If your ceremony is being held in the same venue I will assist in arranging for you both to meet the registrar separately
- I will announce the Bride into the ceremony and then, following your marriage, I will announce the new Mr & Mrs…..
Now it's time for the celebrations to begin.
- I will direct guests appropriately and be available to assist the photographer when necessary
- Prior to the wedding breakfast a receiving line may be organised to greet each guest
- When all guests are seated for the meal, I will announce the grand entrance of the Bride and Bridegroom and escort them to the top table
- If required I will say a Grace or introduce a chosen guest to do so
- At the appropriate time I will announce the cutting of the wedding cake and also the guests who are to make the traditional speeches and toasts.
- I will ensure that any gifts or bouquets are to hand
- After formally closing the proceedings, I will take my leave.
- If requested, I may stay on to announce the throwing of the bouquet and the first dance
